“Ive never seen anything like it.”

On May 12th, 2022 a brushfire started in the canyon and quickly spread. The fire went up the canyon due to strong winds and burned right up to the houses. The houses overlooking the canyon quickly caught fire and that quickly spread into the neighborhood. The winds died down a lot after nightfall but some homes were still burning. Over 200 Acres, and 20 houses have burned to the ground. This fire was known as the #coastalfire
